Sean counts a number of factors. The Zagat’s Guide have just given the Beach Bistro the highest grades for food in the state of Florida – a 28 score that is only shared with three other restaurants in the state, one in Orlando and two others in Miami.
Anna Maria Island is it own micro economy and it is very healthy. Periodicals and newspapers the world over are extolling the beautiful beaches and small town charm of the Island.
Sean also credits a newer style of small plate presentation and pricing.
“We basically offer everything in a couple of sizes and prices. If our guests wants to dine lighter in price or portion we give them that opportunity. We still have the best fish and meat products in the world – American prime beef and domestic lamb and real grouper. It is more expensive because it is the best quality - it is also worth every penny. By offering our presentations in smaller portion sizes with great accompaniments the guest gets great value – and they realize that.
