Last week we had that little cold front that we promised you would show up around the end of September. Cool kissed us with a little chilled for three days. The Beach Bistro had a little party with music and wine on the beach and we all enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets that we've ever seen.

That heat has come back.

Apparently it will be at least next Monday or Tuesday before we get another reprieve. In the meantime our “sure is hot” program at the bistro is still in effect. Come and greet us with “sure is hot” and we will have that free glass of wine or cocktail for you. Our lighter, cooler summer drink and menu presentations are continuing to be popular through these last dog days of summer. The Bruce Klein-Trump Vodka- pineapple-infused-martini has been a major hit. Roberto's stunning, chilling Watermelon salads are sailing out of the kitchen.

We will keep you posted on the next cold front’s progress and plan to celebrate again with music and libations on the beach.
